YouTube, which introduced the Premium membership option in recent months, is preparing to add another one to the options it offers to its Premium subscribers. Thanks to the new feature, Premium subscribers will be able to use 1 channel's join feature for free every month.
YouTube recently announced the YouTube Premium subscription option. Premium subscription offered features such as an ad-free viewing option, an option to play videos and music in the background, and downloads. YouTube is offering another feature to its premium subscribers. Subscribers who pay $ 11.99 will be able to use a channel's “join” feature free of charge each month.
This type of membership is a way to support your favorite YouTube content producers, so you can have some privileges. YouTubers can make special videos, broadcasts, live chats for these members.
Free Join option
YouTube Premium subscribers living in countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, Norway and Sweden have begun receiving promotional notices about the Free join feature. Users who clicked on the notification were redirected to a page with channels they could join that month for free.
This feature, which is not yet active in our country, is not available to large masses. It is not yet known whether this feature will come to life or whether it is just a test.
If this feature is more than a test and will be made available to users, YouTube will also be more of a competitor to Twitch in one area. As you know, Twitch also features a similar feature exclusive to Amazon Prime members. There is currently no explanation for the future of this feature on the YouTube side.
